最先端の研究・デザイン活動を紹介するカジュアルなトークイベントシリーズ「インスパイアトーク（Inspire Talks）」。第20回目を迎える今回は「FUTURE CITY, FUTURE MOBILITY」というテーマで、オンラインと虎ノ門ヒルズからのハイブリッド形式で行います！これからの都市と交通の在り方について、工学とデザイン、研究と実践の両側面から、3名の登壇者に語っていただきます。
今回のインスパイアトークでは、スペシャルスピーカーとして森ビル株式会社から都市開発本部 計画企画部の加藤昌樹さんをお招きし、会場となる虎ノ門ヒルズのエリア開発プロジェクトを中心に、都市のコンテクストにおける再開発プロジェクトの挑戦と意義について、実務の側面から語っていただきます。
東京大学生産技術研究所からは、都市TOD工学の研究分野から胡昂特任教授をお招きし、「中国におけるTOD - 加速する都市開発とその未来」というタイトルで、アジア圏における最新の都市開発事例と、その将来的な展開可能性についてご紹介いただきます。
ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートからは、Intelligent Mobility Design CentreでSenior Research Fellowを務めるDan Phillipsさんをお招きし、テクノロジーが可能にする未来の都市・モビリティの在り方を探索した「Our Future Town」プロジェクトをもとに、人々の生活を中心に据えた街づくりのアプローチについてご紹介いただきます。
それぞれのトークに続いて、インタラクティブなQ＆Aセッションを行い、視聴者の皆様からのご質問をベースに、専門性を超えて登壇者同士でのディスカッションを行います。

Inspire Talks is an exciting opportunity to enjoy hearing about cutting edge topics from science and design. In the next session we will feature three speakers from Institute of Industrial Science, Royal College of Art, and Mori Building Co., Ltd. talking about their latest researches and projects deeply associated with Transport and Urbanism.
Prof. Ang Hu (Project Professor, Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo) will introduce his latest research on the TOD(Transit-Oriented Development) cases in China and discuss its potential and vision in Asian countries.
Masaki Kato (Senior Manager, Urban Planning and Development Division, MORI BUILDING CO.,LTD.) will talk about the challenge and significance of the redevelopment project in mature cities, with a focus on the Toranomon Hills Area Development project.
Dan Phillips (Senior Research Fellow, Intelligent Mobility Design Centre, Royal College of Art) will introduce the people-centred approach to explore the utopia / dystopia of transport and city enabled by the latest technology.
Following the presentations, we will have a short Q&A session. Based on the questions from the audience, the speakers will discuss the topic from various perspectives.
